It was kind of hard to choose a fabric because I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these, and didn't know if I should do girl or boy. So I went neutral. They worked up really fast and I think they turned out cute. Katie wants to try some of this kind. She thinks they'll be easier that the type she already made.
And can someone please tell me how you get your pictures in the middle of the text? Mine always end up above my text, and I've spent an embarrasing amount of time on this little post! There has to be an easier way. Right???

I spend too much time making my pictures work in nicely in my blog posts too. The only solution I have found is to use a computer with a big monitor so the blog page doesn't take up so much room.
And, I love the monkey fabric!! Mom (Margaret) has some monkey fabric sitting in her cloth pile that I really like, too!
Katie says: Wow mom, they are cute. When you first brought home the fabric I wasn't sure if it would work with the white background! Of course you did your burp cloths very fast, while I took one hour to sew only the first one! The neutral looks fine :) and it was TOTALLY worth the time.
Okay,Katie, did you really say that? Or did your Mom embellish on what you really said? You sound very mature and complimentary to your mom.
Adorable.
Very cute, Laura. Emily asked if you named the monkeys like Emily Scoresby named the goldfish?
And I agree, Margaret. Katie sounds very mature. That why I thought it was Laura posting and she was having Mom wash her burp cloths!
I like the monkeys-cute!
KATIE says: I actually wrote that on my own! (My mom didn't pay me) :)
