Bibs and a Burp Cloth

This was a good challenge for me. I had a bib pattern that I bought about 2 1/2 years ago and fabric that I bought over a year ago to make some bibs, so I decided to actually use them. The bib is kind of different. It wraps around a child's waist, so he/she can't take it off. You can use velcro, but since I have a handy dandy snap press that hasn't been getting used enough, I decided to put snaps on it. I made three bibs, two with terry cloth backing and one with denim. I am willing to loan out the pattern if anyone wants it. I'm willing to loan out the snap press, too, but you have to come get it. It would cost a fortune to ship!

Isn't my model cute? I bet you can't guess whose kid she is.I mentioned that I have made many of the diaper burp cloths, so I decided to try something a little different. I found this tutorial and made a reversible burp cloth. I found the diapers/burp cloths in different solid and print pinks on the clearance rack at Walmart. Don't ask me why I used this fabric. I've had it sitting around and just think it's darn cute!

What an adorable little model. Not that I'm biased or anything. ;) Wow, she looks SO much like Ben in this picture, it's hard to imagine any of our kids not looking like this! Haha.

Oh, cute bibs too. ;)

The bibs are both useful and cute.
