Nursing Cover

I took the alternative option for this month, and I made a nursing cover for my sister-in-law Casey. She asked me if I could make one that would cover more than the normal rectangle ones, kind of like the cape they put on you when you get your hair cut. I scoured the internet, but every tutorial was for the basic rectangle kind. Instead I used our Christmas tree skirt (made my Mom) as a rough pattern and adapted it to a nursing cover. The rectangle ones have boning in the front so the mom can look down and see the baby. I used the handle off an ice cream pail instead of buying boning, and it worked great. The cover snaps in the back at the neck.

You should tell me how to make it so that I can make one for every lady in the ward who insists on nursing their child in sacrament meeting :)
