I decided to make a shirred pocket skirt with a waistband. The pockets took a little bit of work, especially since we didn't have any suitable binding tape. I ended up using twill tape for the edges, which turned out pretty well. I had to adjust the layers so it was the length I wanted, but I finally finished with the skirt.
