Hamburger Hot Pads

Several years ago my friend Jenae requested I sew her something as a wedding gift. Not knowing when she was going to get married, I kept thinking I would make it for her for a surprise birthday or Christmas gift, but it never got done. Well, she's getting married in a few weeks.

A bun

Grilled beef patty

Cheese

Lettuce

Tomato

Red Onion and pickles

Topped with a sesame seed bun

Looks good enough to eat.

I'm a little bummed that the one that came out the worst of all was the top bun (since I tried to make it extra thick and puffy), and of course, that's the most visible. Oh, well. Jenae won't mind.
