I gave in to Camille's whining and made this. It is a little over the top for a princess dress for a three year old. I didn't realize how poofy and formal it would be when I decided to use a special occasions dress pattern that came from Mom. Mom never used the pattern. I wonder if she was hoping to make a dress for when one of us entered a little girl in a pageant? If someone does want to enter her little girl in a pageant, let me know and I'll send you the pattern.
I made the smallest size (3), and it is too big. Room to grow, I guess. At the beginning I decided I was going to do everything right and make it without any shortcuts. By the end I gave up and was just trying to make it wearable. I decided in the making of this that I never want to sew with silk or satin again. That is all.

Trying to still watch Wild Kratts while I'm taking the picture |

The skirt part got caught in the back when I hung it so it looks lopsided. It isn't, but there are plenty of other mistakes. |
