It's a skirt

When I told Janet I was going to make a skirt for her for this month's challenge, she wasn't necessarily thrilled. I used fabric I found in my stash. I doubt that Janet would ever have chosen it on her own. I followed one of the easy tutorials and when I laid it out to cut, I discovered that it already had a side seam in it :). Who knows what it was originally going to be? Anyway, here's the skirt. It was pretty easy. It has a pocket. Only one, though, because there was already one side seam and I wasn't about it pick it out to put in a pocket. Will Janet ever wear it? I guess we'll see. (Excuse the gappage--I wanted to show the elastic waistband. Also, that really does seem to be Janet's natural waist.)

Very cute, Margaret! Bonus that it already had a side seam in it! I think Janet should wear it.

It looks like her waist because she has no hips so there is no part of her torso that is skinnier than any other part!

She should wear it with that Rex Lee Run t-shirt on Super Cute Sunday.

It's cute! I vote for Janet to wear it. Cool bonus, the side seam...And I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't remember what all that extra fabric is for sometimes.
