Owl Pillow/ Lovey/ Taggie/ Friend

I don't know what to call this. 

I made it for the first birthday of my friend's little girl.  I wanted to do something fun, but easy and hopefully usable.  My inspiration came from Russell's owl thing, which I haven't ever taken a close look at, I just know he has it and likes it.  So with the vague image of that owl, and a few pinterest searches, I created this.

The eyes and inside of the wings are terry cloth.  I just stitched everything right on the face, leaving the raw edge exposed, because I thought it looked cute that way.  The wings I sewed normally, just top stitching to secure the ribbon tags in place and flatten them a little. 

I thought it came out very well.  It was a quick, fun project and hopefully it will be  loved and used.  But if not, it was still fun to do.
